Proficient in Citrix XenApp & Xendesktop, Xen Server implementation and configuration.
Experience in supporting Virtualization (primarily Citrix Desktop Virtualization, and others like VMWare, MS). Exposure to both Desktop and Server virtualization.
Basic understanding of storage and connectivity fundamentals.
Able to work with the SMEs to drive major incidents and work towards RCA.
Role is to manage the operation team of L2/L1 in Citrix Support and provide support to domestic & international environment /customers.
Able to establish and run good operations and governance practices.
ITIL Aware (spl around Incident /Problem /Change Management).
Good team player and able to manage and mentor team.
Work on team skill enhancement and training need identification.
Manage SLA and Availability of Services.
Project management experience for IT infrastructure management.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a datacenter supporting at L1/ L2 Level is a must.
Support Datacenter Migration, Upgrade, Patching and remain involved in the problem resolution process.
Configure and manage LINUX/ Vmware and Windows operating systems.
Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
Windows/ Linux/ Vmware Server management activities and ability to troubleshoot issues
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage IT Infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Working knowledge of IT Service Management tools/ systems.
Provide support to IT systems including day- to- day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/ server/ storage/ network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
